CMI Premier Bond III

The CMI Premier Bond III is an offshore single premium investment plan with some life cover. If you would like to increase your investment or switch funds, you can select from a range of CMI Insurance Company Limited unit-linked investment funds and Offshore With-Profits funds. Please see the list of available funds below for more information.

The CMI Premier Bond III is intended to be a medium to long-term investment, ideally for five years or more. The value of these investments may go down as well as up and you may not get back the amount invested.

Although the bond is no longer open to new investors, we continue to manage this product for our other customers. Additional investments can be made to existing portfolios at any time subject to a minimum of £5,000 or currency equivalent. Please contact us for further details.

What are your options?

You can switch between the available funds up to 12 times per calendar year free of charge. Any additional switches are currently charged at 1% of the value of the units being switched, subject to a minimum charge of £10 and a maximum charge of £250. You can take regular withdrawals subject to a minimum of £200 ($300 or €300) and a maximum of 10% of the premium per policy year. You can also make a partial or full surrender at any time.
